Early 2026 Tech Inspection Training

What: Get trained on tech inspection so you can join the team doing the final tech at DE/TT events. Be eligible to get a free 120-Day DE/TT tech inspection while you train.

Where: Independent Motorcars

When: January 17th, 2026, 9am-2pm

DE/TT Tech Inspection is changing for 2026. We now need every car to pass through a final tech at the track within 24 hours of the event start. This will require more volunteers. If you plan to attend our big track DE/TT events in the first half of the year please join this event. Get trained on how to perform the final tech inspection and, if you need a 120 day tech inspection, you may be able to get your car inspected at this event for free.

This class is limited to 40 tech inspection trainees, and we are anticipating being able to perform 120-day tech inspections on between 12 and 20 cars over the course of the event. We will prioritize car inspections for trainees who have not yet done a 120-day and have volunteered with the tech team in the past.

Food and drinks for attendees provided by the club.

This training does not allow you to perform the 120-day tech inspection on your car. Inspections must be performed by a dealership,approved PCA-SDR Tech Station, or at a PCA-SDR board approved event covered by PCA insurance.

We are also planning a similar tech inspection training session for the second half of the 2026 season at Black Forest Automotive at a date TBD.
