About this event
Tour chair note: This is the first PNWR overnight wine tour to eastern Washington in several years and offers several activity options throughout the weekend. It is initially limited to 50 cars based on the number of rooms we were able to reserve so please only register for this tour if you are committed to attending since I figure there will be a long waitlist! Note that advanced hotel and dining reservations are required. In short, only register if you actually plan on attending!!
READ ALL OF THE INFORMATION BELOW SO YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND!!
Due to the driving distance, our meeting point on Day 1 will be Safeway/Starbucks at 460 SW Mt Si Blvd in NORTH BEND, WA 98045. This promises to be a fun filled weekend in the heart of Washington wine country. Thanks to Suzy Merz for organizing the activities portion of this tour. Having lived in eastern Washington for many years she and Nathan are experts at organizing events in that part of the state!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Credit card charges for the Friday winery dinner and the Saturday night boat cruise will be charged to your crediit card on file with MSR, but will not be processed until until after the weekend event.
The general schedule of events for the weekend are as follows:
Day 1, Friday, July 25th: Depart Safeway in North Bend and drive a mixture of main and secondary roads (with some twisty curves along the way), We'll stop at Bob's Burgers and Brew for lunch in Yakima, then on to our hotel destination in Richland. The plan is to arrive NLT 4:00 PM to provide time to check in and freshen up for the nighttime visit to Anelare Winery, a small production, premium winery located in the beautiful Horse Heaven Hills in Benton City, for an evening of wine tasting and dinner from 6-9 PM.
