About this event
Each year, the Columbia Porsche Group puts together a drive and dine trip from Columbia to Emmett's restaurant in Fayette, Missouri. It has been a favorite event for several years, and for several reasons. First, we take a twisty route up to the restaurant to enjoy the weather (usually very sunny and spring like) and our cars. Then, we get to enjoy each other's company, and the fine food at the restaurant, in scenic and historic downtown Fayette, on the square.
This year's event is a planned luncheon on Saturday, April 13th. We will depart Columbia from the Boone Co. Fire Protection Office parking lot, in the northwest corner of the intersection of I-70 and Stadium Blvd. North, at 10:30 a.m., which given our twisty route, should get us to Fayette around 11:15 to 11:30 a.m. If you come a little early, say 30 minutes, we enjoy talking and planning the leads and trails for the trip, and we can accomplish our sign up/waiver sheets, driver's meeting, etc. We always have some folks drive in for the event from out of town, and they are more than welcome. We do ask that you send an email to trip host Rob Fleming (robfleming1@juno.com), so we have a good headcount for the restaurant.
